Sd Minimum Wage 2024. Every employer shall pay to each employee wages at a rate of not less than eight twelve dollars and fifty cents an hour beginning on july 1, 2024, thirteen dollars and fifty cents. The minimum wage for tipped employees will be $5.60 an hour.

According to the state department of labor, starting jan. South dakota’s hourly minimum wage is expected to rise to $11.20 from $10.80, and the hourly tipped minimum wage is expected to rise to $5.60 from $5.40.
